Accountant Suite 2010 Install

Uninstalling the Beta version of Tax 2010

The Beta version of Tax 2010 must be removed before the new version of Accountants Suite can be installed. 

1. Backup all your Keytime data.  If you need assistance please refer to the help files / manual or call Support on 0161 484 3500.
2. Choose Add / Remove Programs from the Control Panel (this is called Programs on Windows 7 / Vista).
3. Choose to Remove the program. The software will uninstall ready for you to uninstall the Accountant Suite 2010.

Removing Beta Data

Once you have uninstalled you will also need to remove the beta database as this will display the following message on the release version of Tax 2010:

Please follow the instructions below to remove the Beta databases:

The first step is to locate the beta install data.

To locate the default install location, click the Windows Start button and select Run. Type %appdata% and click OK. 
If you use Vista / Windows 7 click the Windows Start button and type %appdata% in the Search box.  Press Enter.

If you installed to a different location, open the folder in Windows.

The data is stored in a folder named Keytime Data. Rename the folder Keytime Data – Beta or similar.
