Hello!

 

We've just released an update to the software, containing a number of bug fixes and improvements.

Installing the update

 

The recommended method of installing the update is to use the update tool built into Client Manager Plus.

  1. Ensure all Keytime programs are closed, apart from Client Manager Plus
  2. Go to Help // Update Accountants Suite
  3. Client Manager Plus will connect to our servers, and download the latest update.
  4. Your PC will then run the setup file; you should get  a message confirming that this has been completed.
  5. An additional installation screen will then appear - follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.  The update will not be successful until these additional steps have been completed.
  6. Once complete, we recommend restarting the PC.
  7. If you have additional PCs, you should repeat the process on each computer.

 

The update is also available as a manual download, which you should only use following specific advice from the support team.

 

Release Notes

 

Tax 1.0.1.1

  • In some cases, the I am an Agent flag wasn't being retained in the Internet Filing RDE.  This has now been fixed.
  • Increased validation to combat an issue that would cause a 1046 error (usually caused by incorrect user credentials or UTR number) for no apparent reason.
  • Improved the pre-filing validation to prevent a runtime error 13 being displayed in certain cases.
  • Fixed an intermittent bug that could cause an error (Error -2147217887 Could not update, Record Currently locked) when year-ending a 2009 return into 2010.
  • Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

 

Corporation Tax 4.5.1.0

  • Added a Hide Archived Returns option on the Start screen, to hide returns that have been year-ended.
  • Fixed an internet filing validation issue affecting Box 141.
  • Made some improvements to the restore feature, when restoring data that already exists.
  • Added a feature to the Company Details tab on Page 2 of the CT600C to pull the information from the Client form.
  • Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

 

Accounts Production 4.0.1.7

  • Added Export to Tax 2010
  • Fixed a couple of rare conflicts that would cause Accounts Production to close unexpectedly.
  • Updated the Partnership export to the increased turnover limits.
  • Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

 

Trusts 2010 1.0.1.0

  • Fixed an issue where configuration settings weren't being saved in all cases.
  • Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

 

Client Manager 5.0.1.0

  • Fixed an issue that prevented the Accounts Production shortcut from being correctly updated.
  • Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
