 Update Overview

In the update we have concentrated on fixing defects that have been reported.  This updates contains fixes for the following applications:

  • Tax Professional
  • Corporation Tax
  • Accounts Production

Tax Professional

A number of defects reported have been fixed, these are summarised below:

  • Runtime error 363 was occurring when clicking Transfer in a SA800 where a partner in the SA800 was linked to multiple partnership pages in a SA100 and one of the pages in the SA100 were subsequently removed.
  • An invalid name error was occurring when printing a 2008 tax return.
  • A submission was failing where UK Property pages were included and there were no entries in page 2
  • Where there are multiple copies of Foreign pages, a submission was failing on boxes 26, 27 & 32
  • Payments on Account now pre-populates POA in page 1 of the Tax Calculation Summary

Corporation Tax

A number of defects reported have been fixed, these are summarised below:

  • Section 1 of the main calculation screen (click Calculate on the main toolbar) has been amended to show all items in the Trading and Professional Profits Calculator.
  • A new option has been added to Data Entry Options (click the Tools menu...Options...Configure).  There is now a setting that will allow you to set the default category when adding new assets in the Capital Allowances calculator.  Note that CT600 Short does not contain BPRA pages, if you set BPRA as default, the category will be set to Machinery & Plant (Main Pool).
  • Attaching IRIS accounts to a CT600 submission.  IRIS use the date format 1.4.10 instead of 01/04/2010. This was resulting in a warning message being shown when running a check on the return.  This resulted in the date being formatted to 30/12/1899. The check routine now handles dates that contain decimal points as separators.
  • The AIA calculation has been adjusted to take account of 366 days in the 2012 leap year.

Accounts Production

  • A number of tagging and report formatting errors have been corrected.
