Hi folks,
I wanted to share our plans for our updates to Corporation Tax and Accounts Production to make them iXBRL compatible.
We've submitted a version of Corporation Tax to HMRC for accreditation for submitting iXBRL attachments produced by 3rd party accounts production software (or created from Excel or Word with manual tagging). We've now been accredited by HMRC for 3rd party submissions, and should appear on the HMRC list in the next day or two.
We are currently on track for a November release for this update to Corporation Tax, which will allow Corporation Tax to create valid iXBRL computations to submit to HMRC.
November is also the estimated release for this update to Accounts Production, which will create valid iXBRL accounts to pass to Corporation Tax, and from there, to submit to HMRC. The iXBRL accounts will also be valid for sending to Companies House.
So, nice and straightforward; we're right on schedule for our November releases, and we'll update this post as we get more details to share with you.
