Hi Graham,

Unfortunately there is no way to remove subcodes once they have been added. The only thing you would be able to do is rename them - naturally this would only be useful if you have another use for a subcode to the same nominal.
The way you would rename a code is:

1. Go to Edit > Account Codes
2. Highlight the particular subcode
3. Click Edit
4. Type in the new name
5. Click Save
