This error is normally caused due to a system file that hasn't registered correctly
To resolve it, you will need to run the Components Utility
·Go to start – All Programs – Softline Pastel – Pastel Partner/Xpress – Components Utility
·A black screen will come up and close after a few minutes
·Once it has closed you can try and open Pastel again
