This error normally appears when trying to register a computer.

  To resolve, delete the registration directory and repair Pastel:
- Go to My Computer...Local Disk C...Pastel05/07/09Xpress05/07/09/11...Custom.
- There's a Registration Folder in here, delete it And Close the Screen
- Put in your Pastel CD & run it as if installing
- 3 Options will appear: MODIFY, REMOVE, REPAIR
- Click REPAIR And let it run to the end. Click Finish

This should correct the error and allow you to register your pastel
