Latest Version Numbers

We will update this post with the latest numbers as updates are released. The version numbers are accurate as of 06/10/2011
Please use the Client Manager Plus method.
What are the current version numbers?
The current version numbers for our software are as follows:
- Accounts Production:
5.0.0.20 - Released 12th December 2011
- Client Manager Plus:
5.0.5.5 - Released 24 June 2011
- Corporation Tax:
6.0.0.16 - Released 12th December 2011
- P11D 2011:
1.0.0.5 - Released 24 June 2011
- Tax Professional 2011:
1.0.0.15 - Released 8th December 2011
- Trust Tax 2011:
1.0.0.8 - Released 9 November 2011
- Payroll:
8.0.3.7 - For Payroll 2010-11
9.0.0.5 - For Payroll 2011-12 released 9 November 2011
How do I find my version number?
You can check your current version in each program by going to Help // About.
How do I update my software?
To update, ensure you have a backup of all your Keytime data and close all Keytime programs. You can find instructions on how to backup your data in our Backup article:
The steps you will need to take are:
- Ensure that all Keytime programs are closed
- Download the update file through Client Manager, or manually
- Run the update.
- Restart your PC.
If you are updating Payroll, you will have to use the manual download link.
Updating via Client Manager Plus
The recommended method of installing the update is to use the update tool built into Client Manager Plus.
- Ensure all Keytime programs are closed, apart from Client Manager Plus
- Go to Help // Update Accountants Suite
- Client Manager Plus will connect to our servers, and download the latest update.
- Your PC will then run the setup file; you should get a message confirming that this has been completed.
- An additional installation screen will then appear - follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. The update will not be successful until these additional steps have been completed.
- Once complete, we recommend restarting the PC.
- If you have additional PCs, you should repeat the process on each computer.
Updating via download link
Following the introduction of Client Manager Plus, we now recommend updating via Client Manager Plus. You should only update via download link when advised to by support in response to a support ticket. You can find full release notes at the following link:

I've updated the post above, to make it clearer which link to select if you are using the manual download method.
When we next release an update, we'll add a comment to the post confirming the release date, and update the version numbers in the main post.
As of 19th January 2010, the new version numbers are:
Updated with current advice to use the manual download method until April. Also added Company Secretarial download link
Updated for first update release of 2010, including advice to use Client Manager Plus download.

Updated to add the latest Corporation Tax, Tax Professional and P11D releases - 7th June 2010.
