Have you upgraded to Windows 10?

Since upgrading their machines from Windows 7 to Windows 10, several customers have reported an issue where the regional settings are defaulting to English (US) following the upgrade which is the cause of this issue. (This doesn't affect users upgrading from Windows 8 or 8.1)

In order to fix this you need to change the regional settings to English (UK) and then restart your machine.

  • Click the Windows Start button and go to Settings
  • Click Time & Language
  • Under Related Settings select Additional Date Time & Regional Settings
  • Click Region/Change Location
  • Select Formats
  • The format will be set to English (United States). You need to change this to English (United Kingdom)
